Allo, allo!
Not the best at journal-based posting, but I'm trying to fit in as best as I can.
I'm an avid fanfic author and overall fandom lurker. There's always something so magnetic about fandom that's difficult to find elsewhere. I love connecting with people and working up new, creative directions to think about canon or to work into new fanworks. So, you know, just like everyone else.
I've been in my various fandoms for what's felt like far, far too long and I don't think I'll ever be able to escape them. My fandom life started off somewhere around 2009-2010, and I quickly started writing my own fics shortly after that. After all this time - and with the inevitable prospect of spending even more time still here in fandom hell - I think the most important thing that I've learned is to truly and honestly create for yourself. If you're no longer having fun, then it's time to take a step back or even to step away.
That being said, I hope to hang around here for a good while. Cheers!
