Fic Update

((Ooo first post using the new code that was pushed. I like the dropdown for the different posting options. Very clean!))

I managed to draft and post a new chapter of Prove It in *checks watch* just about a month after the last one! That's more on par with where I want to be with longfic updates. I'm really pleased with myself because of it :)

Chapter Summary: After rankings are announced, Tris intends to take a moment to relax before starting her life in Dauntless. Things don't exactly go to plan.
Excerpt:

“I can’t believe you made first rank,” Lauren remarked with a slight shake of her head. Then she lifted a hand and grimaced. “Not that I meant it that way! Of course you earned it.”

Tori leaned over and rested her elbow on my shoulder. “She’s just mad because she lost the bet on whether she or Four would get the first ranked kid honor,” she said with a laugh.

I felt like I had to say something but couldn’t think of what would do the trick. Rolling her eyes, Lauren made a rude gesture to Tori. “We do integrated training after Phase One, so can we really call them ‘my kids’ or ‘Four’s kids’?” she asked.

“Uh, yes,” Tori laughed.

Also, note to self, make a template for fics so that you can stop redoing the raw code every goddamn time.

Cross-Posting

Annnnd as of last week, I am finally back up to date on both AO3 and FF.net. I was behind for a while there because a) it's a pain in the butt to upload on FF.net on my Chromebook, which is where I have been doing all of my writing lately and b) events with later reveals = Sarah forgets to upload the working doc to FF and then never posts it to there post-reveal. I'm sure that I confused people posting 4 "new" fics in under a week when I'm more of an every-four-weeks kind of poster typically, but c'est la vie.

I'm up to date on comments and review responses, too, which is pretty great! Now I have... no... excuses... to write ;_;
